On October 8, Michael Magin, Vice President of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences (KUAT), visited USST. Vice President Cai Yonglian met the delegation, and relevant leaders from the International Affairs Office and the School of Mechanical Engineering attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Xu Lin, deputy director of International Affairs Office.
On behalf of USST, Cai Yonglian welcomed the visit of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, which has been cooperating with USST for nearly 10 years, starting from the joint cultivation of master's degree students and exchange programs, and then exploring the feasibility of joint program for master's degree students of Mechanical Engineering/Electromechanical Engineering Integration in 2019, and the two sides h**e built up a deep friendship during the cooperation, and welcome German students to come to our university for exchange and study.
Michael Magin expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of USST and said that Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences pays great attention to practical teaching and the cultivation of craftsmanship. He also said that in the past 10 years, the performance of USST students studying in Germany has been very excellent and he hoped that more exchanges could be carried out between the Chinese and German students.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the joint development and utilization of remote control laboratories, and explored more opportunities for cooperation to jointly cultivate high-level talents, so as to promote the two universities to achieve new achievements in the joint cultivation program. Afterwards, the delegation visited the National Equipment Manufacturing Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center and Professional Experimental Center in the School of Mechanical Engineering.
