Delegation from the School of Design Nantes Atlantique, France visited our university

On April 18, President Ding Xiaodong met with Christian Guellering, the president of the School of Design Nantes Atlantique (L'École de design Nantes Atlantique), France. Xu Lin, deputy director of International Affairs Office, Cai Jinda, dean of College of Communication and Art DesignCCAD, and Xue Wen, vice dean of CCAD, attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Xu Lin.

On behalf of USST, Ding Xiaodong welcomed the delegation. He said that USST attached great importance to international cooperation and exchange, had a very strong international atmosphere, and had significant characteristics and advantages in Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. He thanked the School of Design Nantes Atlantique for its support to USST for more than ten years and for providing students with opportunities to exchange and study abroad. He hoped that with this exchange, both universities will continue to explore new modes and ways of cooperation and further deepen cooperation in joint research, academic community and talent cultivation.

Gellerin expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by USST. He expressed that he was very willing to carry out deeper exchanges with our university based on the previous cooperation. He invited USST to join the "International Alliance of Art, Design and Media Institutions" to enhance the international influence of our university.

After the meeting, both sides took a group photo. Gellerin attended the meeting with students and teachers at the College of Communication and Art Design.
