From March 6 to 15, 11 students and teachers from Chuo University of Japan came to our university for a 10-day short-term exchange visit, which is the first overseas student group welcomed by our university since the epidemic. Chuo University of Japan is one of our inter-university partners in Japan. The two universities signed an inter-university agreement in 2011 and h**e been carrying out various kinds of colorful student and teacher exchange activities for a long time. This program aims to enhance the understanding and identity between young students of the two universities, expand their international vision, and promote cultural exchange between China and Japan.
The immersion experience in English teaching class, the practical experience of Chinese tea culture, the visit to famous Chinese and Japanese enterprises, and the lecture on Sino-Japanese cultural exchange by Ryo Takeuchi, a Japanese netizen documentary director ...... made the Japanese students deeply feel the great development of China, break the prejudice and perceive a more real China.
Wonderful moments
In addition, after school, Japanese students visited Shanghai and its surrounding areas accompanied by student volunteers from our Japanese Cultural Exchange Center. At the Shanghai Museum, they were amazed by the precious cultural relics of ancient China, such as bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy, and weapons. In Suzhou, the students visited the renowned Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum to experience Chinese garden culture up close.

At the closing ceremony, Xu Lin, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Office, g**e a speech in which she reviewed the friendly cooperation established between the two schools over the years and hoped that the students would experience the charm of Chinese culture, understand the current needs of the international business community for talents, and improve their cross-cultural communication skills through this exchange program. Afterwards, the Japanese students came on stage one by one to tell what they had thought and learned during the trip.
