In the afternoon of September 20, the first session of the "Global Competence Talent Cultivation" Theme Salon - College of Energy and Power Special Session was successfully held at the German Cultural Exchange Center, hosted by the Hujiang International Culture Park of International Affairs Office.
Professor Su Mingxu and Professor Yang Huainan, vice deans of the College of Energy and Power Engineering, and representatives of outstanding young teachers who have returned to China after graduation participated in this salon. The teachers in charge of the cultural exchange centers of the Hujiang International Cultural Park and the teachers of the International Cooperation Section of the International Affairs Office gave the guests a detailed introduction of the centers of the Cultural Park and the international exchange programs. In the free discussion session afterwards, teachers expressed their views on how to cultivate students' international vision and improve their global competence with a lively atmosphere.
The International Affairs Office has been actively exploring the initiative of international education exchange and cooperation in the high-level construction of USST in recent years, and is committed to building a high-level international exchange platform for the university. It is hoped that through this series of thematic salon activities, the International Affairs Office can further broaden the communication channels, strengthen the communication with all colleges on the campus, make use of their advantageous resources, and build up the international exchange network, so as to provide more opportunities and support for USST to cultivate "globally competent talents".
