On December 22, the annual meeting and exchange symposium of Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance 2021 was held in online format. At the opening ceremony, CHENG Danhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai University and the Chairman of the Alliance, SHU Gangbo, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of the Ministry of Education, LIU Maozhou, Representative of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, LI Yongzhi, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and LAI Tze-kin, Principal Assistant Secretary (Higher Education) of the Hong Kong Education Bureau delivered speeches, proposing that the Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance should focus on the overall situation, build a high-quality talent cultivation system and It should deepen cooperation, build a high-level collaborative innovation platform, and achieve a high level of scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement; strengthen exchanges between Hong Kong and Shanghai, bring into play the advantages of education, cultivate talents with national sentiments, and contribute to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The Council meeting that followed summarized the work of the Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance in 2021 in the summer school, internship program and the construction of excellent national condition courses. As one of the members of Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance, two courses of USST, "<Shi Jing> and Chinese Poetry Education" and "Learning Entrepreneurship by Knowing and Doing", were shortlisted for the construction of excellent national condition courses of Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance. In terms of high quality educational resources sharing among universities in the Shanghai-Hong Kong University Alliance, 10 USST students were qualified to attend the summer international courses of Fudan University for free. After that, all the members of Shanghai-Hong Kong Alliance considered and passed the arrangement of the 3rd Shanghai-Hong Kong Alliance Council Chairman and Vice Chairman. Hong Kong Baptist University takes the place of the third council chairman, and the vice chairmen are Tongji University in Shanghai and Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

During the exchange symposium, YANG Jiong gave a presentation titled "The Growth of Pony 98 during the Epidemic", in which she introduced the growth story of the student psychological peer group of USST during the epidemic in terms of self-education, self-management and self-service.
