Former Justice Minister of Germany Prof. Dr. Herta Daeubler-Gmelin visited Hujiang international cultural park




   On the afternoon of 1st June, the former justice minister of Germany, who is currently the president of the Federal Parliamentary Human Rights and

Humanitarian Aid Committee, Prof. Dr. Herta Daeubler-Gmelin came to our university. Accompanied by Albert foundation staff and the German culture center’s director, she visited Hujiang international cultural park in our university.


The German culture center’s director introduced the history of the establishment and the original intention of the cultural park and organized events to Prof. Dr. Daeubler-Gmelin.


Prof. Dr. Daeubler-Gmelin visited each culture center with great interest and used her mobile phone to record the old buildings which are used for Sino-foreign cultural exchange. Volunteers of each center talked in detail to her about the features and all kinds of activities of their center.


Finally, Prof. Dr. Daeubler-Gmelin and other companions arrived at the last building, the German culture center. They tasted authentic German coffee and authentic German-style handmade cakes.
