Student Delegation from Japanese Fukui University Studied in USST




    From March 3rd to 17th,twenty seven students from Japanese Fukui University consist of the Seminar for Preparatory Graduate came to our school and conducted a two-week study and exchange.

    This Seminar for Preparatory Graduate is jointly conducted by USST and Fukui University and is held every year. In the first week, USST arranged Chinese language culture course, which includes aspects of Chinese society, culture and art. In addition, professors from the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Optical-electrical and Computer Engineering, introduced preparatory graduates academic knowledge by giving lectures. In the second week, the main content is corporate lecturing and company

visiting, and USST invited international students graduated from Fukui University and now worked in Shanghai to talk about the development status of Japanese enterprises in China and share entrepreneurial experience in China. During extra-curriculum time, volunteers from Japanese Culture Center accompanied them to visit tourist spots like Bund, Tian Zi Fang, Yuyuan Garden, and Nanjing Road etc.

   Many of the Japanese students said that this is their first time to visit China. Through those activities, they saw a different China, truly experienced real Chinese culture, got to know Chinese local convention and the development status of Japanese enterprises in China. All of this is greatly meaningful for them and they hope one day they could come back to China and live here.
