On March 20, the German-Austrian Sound Concert Series - Classical Beethoven Sonatas by Yang Dongjin was held in the Music Hall, and Dr. Yang Dongjin, a German pianist, was invited to perform. On behalf of the German Center, Mr. Zhou Weidong, Director of the German Center, g**e a welcome speech.

Dr. Yang Dongjin played Beethoven and Schumann classics and g**e a guided tour, which is always one of the features of the concerts held by the German Cultural Exchange Center. The students and teachers listened attentively. He also interacted with the students and teachers by asking questions and sharing tips on how to express a piece better with the piano fans. At the end, he performed a "piano magic" with a piece of modern music. Yang Dongjin, doctor of piano in Germany, pianist, chamber musician, young teacher from the Music Academy of Shanghai University, Grotrian piano artist, member of Piano Committee of Shanghai Musicians Association. He has studied in Germany and Austria, and received the Master's diploma in piano (doctoral level) from the Academy of Music and Drama in Munich, the Master's diploma in chamber music from the Academy of Music and Drama in Munich, the Master's diploma in piano performance from the University of the Arts in Berlin, and the Master's diploma in piano performance from the University of the Arts in Graz, Austria. Dongjin Yang has been performing and teaching piano for many years and has received many awards for outstanding teacher and best artistic director. He has performed all over the world, including Germany, Austria, Italy, China, etc. He has appeared in the International Arts Week in Graz, Austria, and has made CD recordings of outstanding chamber music ensembles for the University of Arts in Graz, Austria. He has also served as an adjudicator in many piano competitions, such as the Sino-German Youth Music Competition - Hummingbird Music Award and the Magnolia International Music Festival. In 2020, he was awarded the title of "Not Bowing to Fate, Piano Battle Beethoven" by the Ministry of Education's Community Arts Education Resources Sharing Joint Initiative. In the same year, he recorded and released the solo album "Yang Dongjin - Beethoven Piano Sonatas" for the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth by the Music Academy of Shanghai University, which was widely praised.
