On March 14, a lecture on "Into the German Literary Classics Series" was held at the German Cultural Exchange Center in the USST International Culture Park.

With the theme of "Elegy for a Falling Empire: The Habsburg Myth in the Writings of Austrian Jewish Writer Joseph Roth", Prof. Liu Wei, Head of German Department of Fudan University, took the fact that the Habsburg dynasty was glorified in the field of literature and art after its collapse and formed a mythical effect. He then introduced the glory of the Habsburg family in its heyday, the background of the creation of Austria's land change and the specific life of the Austrian Jewish writer Joseph Roth, which aroused the interest of the students and teachers. Prof. Liu Wei elaborated on the different purposes of beautifying the historical facts of the Habsburg dynasty in different stages of history into a heyday, making the text interpretation not only boring but also easy to understand.
